GM338 is a sleek large control panel design designed by Motorola, with no right angles visible throughout the entire control panel. Instead, it features simple curved lines. The size of the LCD display screen is also much larger than that of Motorola's mobile radios in the past, and it can finally display dot matrix text instead of the red LED channels on those machines in the past. Although it is displayed on a single line, it can display 14 characters per line, and the signal strength can also be displayed through symbols. Various work icons are available, making this improvement really exciting compared to several older models of Motorola mobile radios.
