In September 2019, she was transferred to the VITEMA Planning and Preparation Department as an outreach coordinator, responsible for working with the Virgin Islands community for emergency preparedness. As an outreach coordinator, her role is to educate, plan, prepare, and inform the community about man-made and natural disasters. In addition, she is responsible for establishing and recruiting staff for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Bradshaw has now returned and has been promoted to the manager of the 911 Emergency Communications Center (ECC) in St. Croix.
"We are very happy that Amanda has assumed this new role. Her return to ECC proves that VITEMA is committed to recruiting talent internally and placing them in positions where they thrive," said Barbara Peterson, Assistant Director of VITEMA.
